This role ensures accurate data collection, compliance with safety standards, and timely delivery of survey results.
Lead and manage a field survey crew to conduct land surveying activities.
The Party Chief leads a field survey crew and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing land surveying activities for construction, boundary, and topographic projects.
Submit reports in a timely manner and ensure compliance with project scope and budget.

Minimum 4–8 years of land surveying experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge of NYS DOT rules and regulations, land surveying, ALTA surveys.
Proficiency with GPS, total stations, data collectors, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of survey computations and plan interpretation.
Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills in dynamic field environments.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
