The Managing Director, Product Specialist will serve as a senior member of the Investor Relations and Capital Formation team, acting as the firm’s technical bridge between investment professionals and investors. This individual will play a critical role in articulating the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio performance, and value creation approach across existing and prospective limited partners. The MD will partner closely with senior leadership on fundraising, product development, and strategic investor engagement initiatives.

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on the firm’s investment strategies, portfolio, and sector themes in all investor interactions.
  • Work closely with firm leadership on capital formation planning, market intelligence, and competitive landscape analysis.
  • Collaborate with the investment, finance, and asset management teams to translate technical and financial results into investor-ready communications.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of portfolio companies and underlying asset performance.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across investor reporting, performance metrics, and marketing materials.

Investor Communications & Product Expertise

  • Deep understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, and performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, DPI, etc.).
  • Proven experience interfacing with sophisticated institutional investors (public pensions, sovereigns, insurance companies, consultants).
  • 15+ years of experience in private markets, preferably within infrastructure, power, energy transition, or real assets.
