Identify non-quality trends and advice Project Quality Manager for resolution.
Ensure all project personnel are aware of the Quality requirements, quality inductions completed and organise training sessions as needed.
Utilise the knowledge management tools available to assist Quality to capitalise from Lessons Learned and to perform in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.
Assess Subcontractors capability to meet the Quality requirements of the Project. Ensure that Project Quality requirements are clearly identified in Invitations to Bid and SOW.
Establish effective corrective, preventive measures and corrective action plan to ensure that deficiencies do not re-occur.
QC inspector / TPI management for inspection related activities at onshore and offshore.
Support in the development of Project Quality Management Plans and Audit Plans in accordance with contractual, regulatory, and internal Subsea 7 requirements, in liaison with project management team.
Appraise product quality in accordance with the specification, Technical Specifications, procedure, drawings, and Quality Plans.
Review of construction and installation Data book after completion of work.
Support the development, maintenance and refinement of Local quality programmes and policies.
Review of subcontract documents (SOW, TBE, etc.) and arranging Kick off Meetings.
Allocate and supervise Quality Control personnel in the various areas of Site Activity.
Project quality surveillance, including system and process effectiveness, monitoring trends, and ensuring feedback mechanism from customers are driven to promote process improvements to meet company goals, objectives, and Client’s requirements.
Post award of a Subcontract, review Subcontractor Quality Management Plans to ensure correct interpretation of Client / Subsea 7 requirements.
Coordination, preparation, establishment and implementation of the Project quality procedures.
Ensure project quality compliance requirement for construction and installation phase of the project and effective implementation of the project quality management system.
Supervise the Quality Control functions / activities of a Project or its parts, including Quality control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality records.
Verify closeout of punch list items at onshore and offshore.
Coordinate with client regarding construction & installation related activities such as onshore and offshore Pipeline installation, jacket and top side installation, at onshore and offshore.
Identifying risk related to construction & installation Quality inspection.
Assist construction & installation team in evaluating and addressing project quality requirements that are identified in invitations to bid.

A diploma, degree or qualification in Engineering or Quality Management with minimum of 10 years overall experience and 5 years as a Quality Control Supervisor for positions in the Project Quality for welding and piping discipline in the HSSEQ Department.
Proficiency in reading, writing & speaking the English language.
The ability to organize and prioritize own work
Supervisory experience of projects related to EPC Oil and Gas production, petrochemical projects.
Internationally accredited (i.e. IRCA or ASQ) Quality auditor training course and examination for ISO 9001 latest version.
Creative problem solving - able to suggest and develop new methods and ways of working
Strong analytical skills
Capable of handling minimum 15 no’s of QC inspectors
CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
NACE qualification as per applicable discipline
Documented auditing experience as Lead Auditor.
Familiar with MS Office
Understanding of welding, NDT, coating and Electrical and Instrumentation.
Willingness and flexible to travel across the region and offshore for short assignments
Ability to understand clients’ needs and ability to develop good relationship with stakeholder
ASNT NDT Level II in RT, UT, PT, VT & MT.
Sound communication skills – able to communicate ideas and results to various stakeholders both in written reports and in meetings, presentations etc.
