In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all plant production activities to ensure assigned construction projects are completed on schedule and within budget. This includes close collaboration with Project Managers, Field Operations, Plant Management, Engineering, and outside vendors.
- Maintain work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Manage and coordinate project execution in the plant to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor/track, coordinate, and purchase shop consumable supplies and materials (other than metal) for assigned projects.
- Adhere to company policies and rules.
- Serve as the point of contact for shop/project coordination meetings to convey needs and schedule, as well as process rejected materials (VMRs).
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships and negotiate costs and services for assigned projects.
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and make needed adjustments to created work orders.
- In conjunction with Plant Manager, assist with verbal or written reports on project status, materials used, costs, and related matters to project teams, management, vendors, and related personnel.
- Issue and/or contribute to work orders while coordinating with fabrication and assembly departments.
- Provide financial support documentation. To include the following as needed: project production status, project rollout, project BOE invoicing.
- Adhere to and enforce all relevant health and safety regulations in accordance with Enclos Safe Work Practices.

We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Plant Production Manager to lead operations at brand new Goodyear, assembly facility. In this role, you'll oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are consistently met. You'll play a key role in driving process improvements, optimizing workflow, and leading a skilled team dedicated to delivering high-performance glazing products that meet our customers' vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee has frequent exposure to indoor manufacturing environment and exposure to moderate noise. They must stand and walk frequently. The employee has constant use of both hands, fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools. They must constantly reach with both hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material. The employee will have frequent repetitive motions and occasionally be able to lift or move 50 lbs. The employee has constant requirement of specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. They must frequently wear eye, ear, and hand protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).
- Demonstrated high level project planning organizational skills with the ability to achieve results through others.
- Understanding of manufacturing procedures and processes, including fabrication, assembly, glazing, shipping, QA/QC, etc.
- At least ten years of experience in a assembly manufacturing environment, preferably within the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to critically think and problem solve.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels of communication such as email, Teams, etc.
- Advanced business financial understanding to ensure processes are in place to identify and address financial impact to the project.
- Ability to communicate in small and large group settings and when necessary present information in front of people.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be proficient with Word Processing software, spreadsheet software, Email, database, and Internet software.
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Management, Construction Sciences, Manufacturing Sciences, or related field or equivalent years of practical work experience in a production or manufacturing setting, esp. in the field of construction or curtainwall. A Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
