Senior Accountant

Description

• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Handle month-end and year-end close processes.
• Process vendor invoices, maintain payment schedules, and manage vendor relationships.
• Manage the full cycle of accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Prepare customer invoices, record payments, and monitor aging reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting of cash needs.
• Track employee expenses and reimbursements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Process payroll accurately and timely, coordinating with HR or management as needed.
• Maintain payroll records and support payroll tax filings (in collaboration with external providers).
• Follow up on past-due accounts and ensure timely collections.
• Monitor cash flow and bank balances.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a small business or sole-charge accounting role is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
