Monitor implementation of company policies and procedures, standards, quality assurance and risk management within business group and area.
Facilitate project management reviews and project quality control reviews in cooperation with the professional services lead and the business class leads.
Build area business group capabilities through recruitment, mentoring, staff development and training.
Participate in business and community activities as a representative of HDR.
Facilitate Area teamwork, communication and work-sharing between offices, business classes, management, and staff to maximize client satisfaction, company growth and profitability.
Partner with Canada’s Managing Director and Water Business Group Directors to develop, implement and maintain effective area business group programs
Actively engaged in professional or industry associations to enhance HDR technical expertise and brand
Prepare annual revenue forecasts and budgets and monitor performance of area business group services. Lead area business group strategic plan implementation. Coordinate activities with company, regional and local managers
Participate in development and implementation of company vision and direction as member of the area team and business group.
Partner with Business Development and Market Sector leads to develop and implement strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards, all within established goals and objectives of the business group, region and company
Monitor area business group performance indicators and implement actions and process improvements as needed.
Support development of strong client relationships and selectively serve as a key client manager
