Hardware Validation & Testing: Develop and execute test plans for hardware validation, including power, signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and thermal testing.
Product Lifecycle Support: Support products through their entire lifecycle including prototyping, production, and post-launch troubleshooting.
Hardware Design Leadership: Lead the architecture, design, and development of embedded hardware platforms (MCU/MPU-based systems, sensors, power electronics, etc.).
Firmware Collaboration: Work closely with embedded software teams to ensure hardware-software integration and resolve interface issues.
Component Selection & BOM Optimization: Select suitable components, considering performance, cost, and availability. Optimize the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Schematic & PCB Design: Design schematics and high-speed, multilayer PCB layouts using tools like Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD, etc.
Compliance & Certification: Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements (FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.) and assist in certification processes.
