Have wide experience in the design, specification and testing of power electronic components such as capacitors, inductors, and filters.
Strong background in the control of power electronic systems, preferably having designed algorithms or having collaborated strongly alongside control designers
Experience interacting with customers and regulatory stakeholders (e.g. TSO’s, developers, government agencies).
Experience in commissioning projects and developing power electronic solutions for industrial and AC transmission grid applications
Doctorate degree in an Engineering field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in design, development and validation of power converters
Experience with application for government funding and project proposal writing including tendering document for commercial offers
Deep understanding of Voltage-Sourced Converter (VSC) HVDC schemes. Some knowledge of LCC (Line Commutated Converter) would also be advantageous.

Depth and/or breadth of knowledge of compliance with Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI), and/or ensuring the converters are EMI-robust/compliant.

Experience with program management, which includes setting up schedules, milestones, technical reviews, tracking funding, etc.
