• Help SDRs grow their careers within the company by offering clear developmental paths and growth opportunities.
• Continuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt the sales approach for maximum effectiveness.
• Monitor team performance and sales data, providing regular reports to leadership with actionable insights.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for the SDR team that align with company goals and expand market presence in the U.S.
• Ensure that SDRs are using CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) effectively, and track outreach activities and lead progress.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement necessary actions for team growth and improvement.
• Oversee the qualification of prospects to ensure high-potential leads are passed to Account Executives.
• Identify trends and adjust strategies to optimize the SDR team’s efforts for maximum results.
• Support SDRs in building and nurturing long-term relationships with prospects.
• Deliver regular sales training, focusing on product knowledge, communication strategies, and effective outreach techniques.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient transition from prospecting to sales closure.
• Set clear expectations, performance goals, and lead by example to inspire the team to exceed targets.
• Manage team performance through KPIs, ensuring regular achievement of activity and conversion targets (calls, emails, leads, meetings).
• Provide support in addressing client concerns and ensuring the team delivers superior client experience.
• Track sales metrics such as calls made, emails sent, demos scheduled, and conversion rates.
• Provide ongoing one-on-one coaching to SDRs, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
• Regularly evaluate and enhance sales processes, using data-driven insights to optimize lead conversion rates and improve team efficiency.
• Create a collaborative and growth-driven environment, providing consistent coaching and development to the team.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead, mentor, and optimize the performance of our SDR team based in India. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills who is passionate about sales strategy, team development, and executing high-impact processes. The Sales Manager will be responsible for team performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and creating a culture of success in the SDR team.

• Previous experience in B2B sales and/or energy-efficient products is a plus.
• Solid background in using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and analyzing sales data.
• Experience with lead generation, prospecting, and sales qualification processes.
• Deep understanding of sales strategies, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in leading a Sales Development function.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
• Ability to work night shifts to support the SDR team in India.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
