Operate a steel yard overhead crane
May perform as rigger for gantry cranes
Responsible for daily inspection, assigned maintenance, and safe operation of assigned crane
May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
Operate mobile cranes, gantry, bridge or whirly cranes with a lifting capacity greater than 35 tons
Ensure crane is properly secured (tied-off) at the end of each shift
Follow all safety rules and practices
Support other departments and/or machine operators as needed
Operate a cab operated overhead crane

Must have completed crane operator training and certification course provided by the Safety Department
