Maintain and repair trucks, mobile plant, and light vehicles across WA sites.

Tasks

-Work closely with other technicians to complete complex tasks and major overhauls. -Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards during daily operations. -Operate diagnostic software and tools to efficiently identify and resolve issues. -Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections to proactively detect and address wear or faults. -Record all service, repair, and maintenance activities with accuracy and attention to detail. -Strip down and rebuild major components of heavy equipment as required. -Diagnose and repair diesel engines, drivetrains, and hydraulic assemblies. -Conduct fault-finding and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across trucks, mobile plant, light vehicles, and related machinery.

What You Bring

-Strong communication and teamwork skills. -Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, mobile plant, or similar equipment. -Australian Recognised Trade Certificate -Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and schematics. -National Police Clearance (validity dependant on site) -Kenworth and Mack Trucks -Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems. -High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable) -Current & Valid Driver's License (HR Preferred)
