You will assist in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. The role involves overseeing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and reporting progress to site and project managers.
Lead and motivate crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Assist in supervising and coordinating site works and construction teams
Assist in site set-out and interpreting engineering drawings
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
Relevant civil tickets (e.g., excavator, roller, etc.) - highly regarded
Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience highly regarded
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand or Junior Supervisor to join our growing civil construction team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in civil works who is ready to step up into a leadership position or further develop their supervisory skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans
Solid understanding of WHS standards and site safety practices
Sound knowledge of earthworks, drainage, and pavement construction
Strong leadership and communication skills
First Aid & CPR (preferred but not essential)
Utility identification, protection, and management
Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Proven experience in a civil construction environment
Current Driver's Licence (MR/HR desirable)
White Card (Construction Induction)
