Description

The Plastic Manufacturing Technician ensures products are packaged, labeled, and inspected for visual quality on the assigned production line. The technician works closely with line operators to meet production goals, assisting with line start‑ups, shutdowns, tooling changeovers, and downstream equipment setup. Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and occasional weekends is required. Safety is a core focus throughout all duties.

• Conduct final visual inspections and label all finished goods.
• Track production quantities to ensure efficiency.
• Package pipe according to standard operating procedures for delivery.
• Maintain a safe work environment and consistently use personal protective equipment.
• Assist with line tooling changes, start‑ups, shutdowns, and downstream equipment setup.
• Stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
• Practice continuous improvement of the line and facility housekeeping.
• Participate in ADS training programs to develop skills and increase earning potential.
• Perform physical labor for extended periods in varying temperatures.
• Use full range of motion (twist, bend, reach, squat) and mount/dismount equipment.
• Stand and remain mobile during 8‑12‑hour shifts; lift and transport finished goods.

Requirements

Successful candidates are self‑motivated, energetic, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Required skills include basic mathematical ability, dependability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new skills. Preferred experience is prior industrial or manufacturing work. The role demands physical labor, including standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, and moving equipment for 8‑12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures.
