Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure seamless project delivery
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Procurement & Contract Administration Lead to drive commercial outcomes, manage subcontractor relationships, and support tendering, negotiations, and ongoing contract administration across a high-value infrastructure project.
Running sourcing activities and supporting negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes
Contributing to procurement planning, reporting, and compliance with project procedures
Liaising with offshore procurement and ensuring accurate PO and invoicing workflows
Assessing market info, risks, and commercial impacts during tender and award phases
Understanding of procurement processes, risk, and contract/claims awareness
Core Talent are working with a Tier 1 utility-scale energy project looking to bring on an experienced Procurement Officer to support a large-scale onshore delivery program.
Background in finance, engineering, QS or similar
~5 years’ experience in procurement/sourcing
Strong commercial & negotiation capability
Experience with MS Office; SAP/Aconex beneficial
Solid financial and communication skills
This role will consider people from construction, and civil backgrounds if they have experience working on high value contracts.
