Build and maintain relationships with customer procurement teams, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Site Agents.
Follow up and requote projects as required to meet or exceed agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets across assigned customer base.
Act as the day-to-day operational contact for allocated housebuilder sites, managing build progress and ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time and in the right quantities.
Source non-standard or bespoke product requirements in line with customer needs and timelines. Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery dates.
Work closely with branches to ensure customer orders are prioritised, accurate, and aligned to site schedules and specific delivery requirements.
Manage and grow our large key accounts.
Manage the full order lifecycle — inputting orders, monitoring fulfilment, and ensuring timely and complete deliveries in collaboration with internal branches and logistics teams.

Experience within a sales, account management or customer support role - ideally within builders’ merchant, supplier, or construction-related role.
Clear and professional communicator across phone, email, and in-person; able to build relationships with customers at all levels, local branches, suppliers and regional support teams.
Project coordination, prioritisation and multitasking skills.
Commercial and pricing awareness of margins, rebates, delivery charges, and credit processes.
Full UK Driving licence. - Travel is required for the role.
