In this dynamic position, you'll combine your scientific knowledge and technical aptitude to provide expert support on sophisticated imaging instrumentation and software. You'll be responsible for installations, customer training, troubleshooting, and technical service, while also assisting the commercial team with pre-sales demonstrations and customer evaluations.
- Proactively engage with customers, sharing feedback and insights with the wider business.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs in collaboration with the service team.
- Install and verify imaging systems at customer sites, ensuring users are fully trained and confident.
- Support sales and applications teams with product demonstrations and technical expertise.
- Provide on-site, phone, and remote technical support, troubleshooting and resolving technical or application issues.
- Deliver customer training and support to maximize instrument performance and user satisfaction.

- Excellent communication skills - able to train, present, and support customers with professionalism and clarity.
- Degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biophysics or a related discipline.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-first mindset.
- 2-3+ years of laboratory experience with molecular biology, proteomics, or imaging applications.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel frequently (50-65%).
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on experience with complex laboratory instrumentation and scientific software.
