Analyze warehouse and delivery route pain points and implement process improvements by collaborating with stakeholders
Solve most complex warehouse issues and partner with external and internal customers to deliver high customer satisfaction.
Set the direction and oversee the warehouse operations including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, wire cutting, inventory control, and delivery activity. Orders range from a small box to pallets.
Lead warehouse and driver staff by setting goals and focusing on continuous improvement and associate development.
Learn and maximize capabilities of ERP software Solar Eclipse to improve warehouse operations.
Provide input and proactively monitor the warehouse’s budget to capitalize on efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible.
Serve as a safety ambassador regularly covering safety tips and correcting unsafe practices.

Possess knowledge of the warehouse role (e.g. Picking, packing, receiving and shipping) and equipment used e.g. RF scanner, wire cutting machine, forklift.
Strong leadership skills and proven experience driving behaviors that lead to great results
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
Excellent communications skills by phone, email, verbal and written forms of communication to deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation
Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills
Knowledge of industry safety best practices and OSHA
Strong problem solving skills and ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stressful situations
2+ years of experience managing teams in a medium-sized warehouse environment; experience with unions is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Willing to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacket. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders
