The Maintenance Manager position is based in Douglassville, PA. The role involves overseeing the maintenance department, building programs for preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment longevity and performance.
The manager spends about 80 % of time on the floor with the team, collaborates with operational leaders, oversees plant technicians, manages new equipment installations and rebuilds, reads and fabricates to construction drawings, leads mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, keeps detailed maintenance records, controls plant maintenance costs, works with subcontractors, vendors, and assists with calculations for fabrication and layout.
Required: high school diploma (technical training preferred), five years’ experience as a maintenance supervisor, ten plus years in industrial manufacturing maintenance, strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, mechanics, PLCs, and team‑leadership skills. Experience with concrete‑manufacturing equipment is highly preferred, and the role requires on‑call support for a 24 × 7 operation.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem‑solver who ‘saves the day,’ technically minded, able to make sound judgment calls, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, stays calm under pressure, and manages time effectively to meet deadlines.
The role requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (occasionally 80 lb), continuous monitoring of machines, moving throughout the facility, reaching, hearing, smelling, occasional stationary work, climbing steps or ladders, and working in tight spaces. Reasonable accommodations are available.
