Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium singlediscipline engineering projects or large, routine projects
Mentor staff and support continued development
Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to closeout)
Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs
Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project’s development
Foster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staff
Perform complex structural planning, analysis, and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects to ensure completion of documents on schedule
Work on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cablestayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projects
Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreedto schedule
Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
Select standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development
Collaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practice
