Comply with all local and national building codes and regulations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, inspecting ducts, and checking refrigerant levels.
Help with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork.
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC units under the supervision of a technician.
Complete any required coursework or training programs to become a fully certified HVAC technician.
Maintain and organize tools and materials required for HVAC work.
Communicate with customers when necessary and relay information back to the senior technician.
Handle tools and equipment needed for installation and ensure proper placement of components.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Provide excellent customer service by being respectful and professional at job sites.
Ensure that equipment is functioning properly and report any damages or issues.

Gain knowledge of HVAC systems, components, tools, and techniques.
This position may be working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).
EPA Certification Preferred.
Basic understanding of heating, cooling systems, and tools related to HVAC work.
Ability to listen, ask questions, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in or completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or technical school is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding tasks.
