Implement necessary design changes during the manufacturing phase.
Work with mechanical and electrical components such as gearboxes, electric motors, and load cells.
Design custom automated equipment for the automotive industry using FEA, GD&T, and 3D CAD.
Support manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
Collaborate with customers to develop concepts and test complex machines.
Research, quote, and select components for automated equipment.

Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or associate degree with relevant experience.
Experience in automation equipment for the automotive industry.
5-10 years of experience in machine design.
Knowledge of custom automation equipment.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Engineering or a Master's degree.
SolidWorks proficiency.
Experience with hydraulics or pneumatics.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise.
