- Troubleshoot system failures, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate solutions.
- Assist in planning commissioning schedules, ensuring proper resource allocation.
- Work closely with project teams to anticipate and mitigate risks related to system commissioning.

- Provide detailed documentation and technical feedback to Coordinators and management.
- Review and refine test procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to best practice development and commissioning process optimization.
- Assist in performance evaluations of junior staff by providing technical feedback.
- Provide technical training on advanced testing and commissioning methodologies.
- Lead high-level functional performance testing and validation of complex systems.
- Support Coordinators in client interactions, presenting technical findings and recommendations.
- Assist in the development of lessons learned reports to improve future projects.
- Direct and oversee commissioning activities, ensuring technical accuracy.
- Communicate findings and concerns to project managers and engineers to optimize system performance.
- On occasion the employee may move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Act as a mentor to junior Specialists and Technicians.
- Evaluate and improve commissioning scripts, documentation, and checklists.
- Frequently required to remain in a stationary position.

- Must be able to obtain NFPA 70E / OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certifications as required.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet close deadlines
- Frequently moving through various environments, including critical facilities, low / high temperatures, and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form (technical and non-technical information)
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows, optimize operational processes, and contribute to company-wide innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline
- Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management
- Minimum eight years’ additional experience with installation, hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and controls infrastructure
- Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively plan and delegate the work of others
- Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients and serve as primary point of client contact
- Ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and provide technical direction to junior staff.
- Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls system principles
- Frequently required to ascend/ descend stairs and ladders and move through tight or confined spaces to access equipment.
- Exposure to critical infrastructure, electrical systems, and high-tech environments.
- Two years of experience with hands-on installation, testing, validation and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and controls infrastructure
- Frequently manipulating, moving or grasping small parts, devices or tools.
- Skilled in commissioning software and reporting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, capable of diagnosing complex system issues.
- Must be located near a major airport.
- Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
- Up to 75%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states.
