Senior/Associate Architect - Sports & Public projects

• Provide high-level design guidance, ensuring outcomes align with client aspirations
• Work across globally recognised landmark projects
• Lead project strategy, briefing and coordination for significant sport and events programs
• Guide and mentor emerging architects within the practice
• Work directly with clients, sporting bodies, authorities and user groups
• Support business development and sector growth, building networks and identifying opportunities
• Prepare bids, strategic documentation, feasibility and advisory reporting
• Lead significant sport and recreation projects through all phases, from feasibility and briefing to delivery

Requirements

This humble design practice is seeking a senior architectural leader with a strong portfolio and expert knowledge in sports and community environments. The role will suit an experienced Associate or Senior Associate who is ready to lead major civic and sporting precincts and multi-purpose environments that bring people together and champion active urban life. Working closely with Directors, you will take a leadership role across client engagement, project visioning, team coordination and strategic growth, and engage in both the strategic and delivery ends of complex, high-profile work. You will be required to support bid development, stakeholder frameworks, feasibility planning, detailed briefing, and coordinated project delivery, with the support of a motivated and growing team.

• Confident communicator with the presence to lead stakeholder and client discussions at senior level
• Hospitality or interior planning sensibility welcome
• 15+ years of post-graduate experience, with proven experience in major sport, recreation or civic community projects
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex, large-scale projects
• Revit capabilities to generate plans and early design thinking.
• Leadership presence with the ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams and influence outcomes.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture and ARBV Registration.
• Proven ability to lead client and stakeholder engagement.
• Confident working in early phases: briefing, feasibility, bid development, strategic documentation
