- Ten (10) + years of distribution design experience in overhead and underground (4 kV to 35 kV)
- Familiarity with distribution design software, the National Electric Safety Code, and utility best practices
- Ability to lead and direct a team of engineers, designers, and drafters to successfully execute project work
- A two-year technical certificate or degree
- Self-motivated and willing to work in design teams to accomplish a common goal
- Experience with AutoCAD, DDS, MicroStation, PLS-CADD, SPIDAcalc, and STORMS
- Strong command of the English language and possess good written and oral communications skills
- Five (5) + years of distribution design experience and/or distribution line construction (4 kV to 35 kV)
- Experience preparing/supporting permit applications, forestry requests, right-of-way documents, and construction estimates
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process
