Resident Services Manager - The Standard on the River

Description

• Lead leasing consultants by applying creative sales strategies to meet occupancy goals
• Maintain resident ledgers, post rent payments, and issue charges, concessions, and final statements
• Initiate lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed
• Assist Property Manager with month‑end accounting tasks
• Guide the leasing process from tours to move‑in, close sales, complete lease documents, and inspect apartments
• Match property features to prospective residents’ needs
• Support occupancy and retention by following up with potential and current residents
• Build resident relationships through courteous and timely responses
• Address complaints and service issues promptly to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Coordinate and organize resident events with teammates
• Train and develop teammates, providing on‑the‑job and scheduled training
• Inspect and prepare property areas daily for cleanliness, including models, vacant units, curb appeal, and amenity spaces
• Manage in‑house bad‑debt collections
• Foster client/owner relationships by meeting owners, touring communities, providing performance updates, and handling requests
• Process resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, fees, and legal procedures

Requirements

Applicants must pass a background and reference check prior to their first day to verify employment eligibility.

• Minimum one year leasing experience in residential property management
• Cheerful attitude with strong customer‑service focus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tech‑savvy with ability to use property management applications
• Proven strength in sales, leasing, closing, delinquency, and renewal management
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (nice to have)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (nice to have)
• Experience with affordable housing (nice to have)
