We are hiring an Entry-Level Project Engineer to support and manage project documentation, field coordination, and administrative workflows required to execute ground-up multifamily construction. You will be the gatekeeper of all project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, plan revisions, permits, logs, schedules, meeting minutes, safety records, and all closeout documentation. Because documentation control is mission-critical, your time allocation will evolve with the project lifecycle. This role requires someone who learns quickly, communicates clearly, stays organized under pressure, and thrives in a demanding environment with variable workload and occasional extended hours.
Integra Build is seeking a motivated and driven Project Engineer to support our growing Multifamily Division.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction, work directly alongside experienced leadership, and embrace the demanding but rewarding nature of large-scale multifamily development.
- Is highly organized and disciplined with paperwork, logs, and digital documentation.
- Shows up every day, physically present, mentally engaged, and dependable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred) or a combination of relevant experience/education will be considered.
- Has grit, stays consistent and productive when the workload is heavy and the pressure is high.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, or noisy conditions.
- All closeout logs and turnover documentation
- Work performed in both project site offices and outdoor jobsite conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail; strong ability to shift priorities quickly and professionally.
- Final drawing sets and RFI-tagged as-builts
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of construction processes, means/methods, materials, and permitting.
- Strong communication skills with subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments (Accounting, HR, A/E, QAQC).
- Familiarity with construction documents and project processes.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during field operations.
- Ability to balance field presence with heavy administrative/documentation workload.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, climb stairs, walk jobsite terrain, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- O&M manuals
- Familiarity with building codes, documentation standards, and industry workflows.
- Can pivot between field conditions and office demands without losing accuracy.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including stairs, uneven terrain, and outdoor environments.
- 0–3 years of experience in commercial or multi-family/condo construction (internship or field experience a plus).
- Proficiency or willingness to learn: Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
