The Building Technology Implementation & Support Specialist oversees consultation, implementation, training, and support of Simpson Strong‑Tie’s component‑solutions software. Working with branch sales representatives, regional managers, marketing, and other technical service representatives, the specialist aligns sales strategies with company objectives and drives growth in the Building Technology market segment.
- Manage customer software implementation, including schedule, success measures, installation, configuration, and end‑user training (50% of time).
- Act as liaison between customers and product/development teams, translating requirements, testing new features, and overseeing enhancement deployment (15%).
- Coordinate projects with Design Services and Component Review Services, handling documentation, scheduling, design, and review tasks (15%).
- Provide post‑implementation support and assist the Help Desk with ongoing customer inquiries (10%).
- Collaborate with sales to assess client needs, demonstrate software capabilities, and define technical requirements (10%).
