The 2nd Shift Fleet Supervisor works Monday‑Friday from 3 pm to 11:30 pm and one Saturday per month, providing direct leadership to technicians and managing workflow and task assignments.
The role oversees day‑to‑day operations in the maintenance shop, coordinates repairs, reviews driver repair requests, and ensures quality and progress while performing mechanical duties as needed.
The supervisor monitors parts inventory, restocks supplies, coaches and trains staff, evaluates performance, handles disciplinary actions, and contributes to decisions on termination, compensation, and promotion.
They enforce organizational policies and safety regulations, create required reports, and work in a hybrid office/plant environment using standard office equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least four years of relevant experience.
The position involves occasional exposure to occupational risks and environmental conditions such as dirt, noise, and weather extremes, with reasonable accommodations available.
