Tasks

-Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes. -Being responsible for the financial performance of projects -Leading the design and delivery of general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes -Being an active and collaborative team member – working with other disciplines and working closely with the Client team -Contributing to technical excellence and innovation within team -Delegation of tasks to Early Career Professionals and Graduates to contribute to their development. -Undertaking technical review and checking of design deliverables within the team -Writing and implementing traffic regulation orders in line with The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. -Preparing and reviewing technical outputs including drawings, reports, and specifications. -Preparing and reviewing reports, drawings, schedules and other documents in accordance with local procedures and guidance

What You Bring

-Experience of managing project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. -Track record of leading on Road Safety and Traffic Engineering projects – including general traffic engineering, road safety and active travel schemes. -Effective communication with Clients, Contractors, and other Key Stakeholder to deliver outputs on time and within budget. -Proficient in AutoCAD, KeySIGN/LINES/POST software. -Familiarity with relevant design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, Manual for Streets and the Traffic Signs Manual. -A good working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and CDM responsibilities.
