We are seeking a FERC Permitting Specialist to lead efforts securing and maintaining environmental permits and regulatory approvals for key projects. You’ll work cross-functionally across engineering, legal, land, and operations to ensure compliance and enable safe, timely project execution.

  • Ensure compliance during construction, manage environmental reporting, and maintain strong regulatory relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to satisfy requirements from agencies such as FERC, BLM, USACE, USFWS, BIA, and state regulators.
  • Lead permitting for major capital projects including pipelines, processing facilities, terminals, and related infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement permitting strategies that align stakeholders, meet budget and schedule targets.

FERC Permitting Lead

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in environmental permitting and compliance, with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
  • Knowledge of environmental impact assessments.
  • Experience with federal/state/local environmental laws and regulations (NEPA, ESA, NHPA, CWA, etc.) and agencies such as USACE, USFWS, FERC.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with project management.
