Journeyman Electrician

Description

• Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Collaborate with branch leadership to meet licensing and labor ratio requirements
• Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
• Determine the distance between objects
• Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
• Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position
• Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
• Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
• Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
• Perform electrical work in compliance with NEC, OSHA, AHJ, and utility standards
• Complete MPUs and install solar batteries (Tesla, Enphase, Span, SolarEdge)
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
• Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
• Maintain accurate documentation and update job status in company systems
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process
• Assemble and install all components of residential solar systems
• Repeat the same movements
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls

Requirements

• React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
• Understand the speech of another person
• Working knowledge of current NEC codes
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to read and interpret single- and three-line drawings
• Lift 50+ pounds
• High school diploma or GED
• ValidTexas Journeyman Electrician LicenseorWireman License(required)
• Proficient in conduit bending (EMT) and use of electrical tools
• Experience with MPUs and solar battery systems
• Walk or run for long periods of time
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and system issues
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
