Assume the responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager in their absence, ensuring the continuity of maintenance operations and decision-making
Collaborate effectively with maintenance team members, other departments, and external contractors to ensure seamless property maintenance, fostering teamwork and cooperation
Report supply needs to Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager and maintain shop organization
Ensure prompt coordination and response to emergency on-call and after-hours maintenance assignments
May be required to push or pull items and reach overhead
Perform sheetrock repairs to maintain the community's aesthetics and structural integrity, ensuring that any damage is promptly addressed
Complete work orders and maintenance tasks within 24-48 hours, updating records in the computer system. Address pending tasks and set clear completion expectations
Assess property safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing resident well-being

Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

One year of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience will be considered
