Egis is hiring a detail‑oriented, analytical Building Inspector for Site Supervision in Kuwait. The role ensures that construction projects comply with local and international building codes, regulations and safety standards while overseeing on‑site activities. The inspector will work closely with contractors, engineers and project managers to maintain high quality and timely project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with local and international building codes.
- Supervise construction activities and monitor work quality.
- Review technical drawings and specifications.
- Identify and report code violations, safety hazards, and structural deficiencies.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate site visit records.

- Stay updated on changes in building codes and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance to improve construction processes and maintain quality standards.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The position is a permanent contract within the Energy and Sustainable Cities business line, under the General Engineering service line, and serves the Middle East and South Asia region. It belongs to the Site Supervision job family and focuses on construction supervision and surveying. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to multiple construction sites in Kuwait City are required.
- Hold a diploma in Civil/Architectural Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years experience in building inspection or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in site supervision and project management.
- In‑depth knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proficient in inspection techniques, software, and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant certifications in building inspection (e.g., ICC certifications).
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to construction sites within Kuwait City.
