Accountant

Description

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
• Assist with month-end processing and preparation of financial reports
• Perform financial analysis and assist in reporting key insights to management
• Risk analysis, contract and lease reviews
• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure records are up to date
• Prepare taxation returns (GST, FBT, Payroll, Income Tax)
• Collaborate with various teams to support business operations
• Support accounts payable, receivable, payroll, daily cashbook management and banking tasks functions when needed

• Effective communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• CA or CPA preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central or similar ERP systems is a bonus, but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• At least 4 years' experience in a finance/accounting role preferred
• Proficient in Copilot, Microsoft Excel and other MS 365 programs
