Data Management: Manage and organize all plumbing data within the BIM model, ensuring accurate data exchange between different teams and disciplines. Assist in integrating BIM models with project management and analysis software.
Accurate and Coordinated MEP Models: Ensure that plumbing Revit models are fully coordinated with other building systems, free from significant clashes, and meet project requirements.
Improved System Design: Provide accurate and efficient design and coordination of plumbing systems, ensuring optimal performance, space utilization, and ease of installation.
Plumbing Modeling: Create, manage, and maintain detailed Revit models for plumbing systems, from design development through to detailed documentation. Ensure that all models comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Assists in on-site observation and documentation.
BIM Coordination for MEP: Lead coordination efforts between plumbing systems with other building systems. Facilitate and lead coordination and clash detection meetings with internal teams and external consultants using tools such as Navisworks and ACC BIM360. Ensure timely resolution of clashes and conflicts by working closely with all project stakeholders to deliver coordinated, conflict-free designs.

Proficiency with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and other relevant BIM software.

Two- or four-year degree in Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology
Unlicensed / May pursue designer certification. CPDT preferred but not required.
Knowledge of plumbing design principles, codes, and standards.
