To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up
To ensure that the overall project is delivered to meet the asset operational needs
To participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary
To identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required
To liaise with the Client’s Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the candidate will assume sole responsibility for the project process systems.

To manage the Process engineering and design team
To assist in the coordination of all activities related to process systems
To have single-point responsibility for all process engineering deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client’s policies and procedures
To provide direction and guidance on all technical queries relating to process engineering
To provide technical support to site in terms of material inspection, Factory Acceptance Testing
To provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
To attend weekly progress meetings and generate status reports for the Engineering/Project Manager

Meaningful and interesting projects Delivered to high profile clients and complex projects in Iraq
Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
Experience in flare networks, produced water systems, firewater systems, and prior exposure to refinery environments would be a strong advantage
At least 12 months experience of site-based project work involving field engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance
Membership of a recognized professional institute preferred
Minimum of 6 years proven capability in an engineering design company
Minimum of 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry
Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
