Tasks

-Participate in design reviews and value engineering sessions. -Develop and refine engineering designs for new and existing product lines, including ceilings and containment assemblies. -Participate in product testing and validation to ensure structural and airflow performance standards are met. -Work closely with sales, project management, and installation teams to understand client needs and translate them into manufacturable designs. -Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar CAD platforms. -Ensure products comply with relevant codes and certifications such as CISCA and ISO 9001. -Support customer-specific requirements with tailored design solutions.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline. -Proficiency in SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar 3D CAD software, with a strong understanding of GD&T. -3+ years of experience in manufacturing design engineering, ideally in building products, modular systems, or structural steel fabrication. -Familiarity with metal forming, welding, and assembly processes. -Strong grasp of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.
