Participate in design reviews and value engineering sessions.
Develop and refine engineering designs for new and existing product lines, including ceilings and containment assemblies.
Participate in product testing and validation to ensure structural and airflow performance standards are met.
Work closely with sales, project management, and installation teams to understand client needs and translate them into manufacturable designs.
Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar CAD platforms.
Ensure products comply with relevant codes and certifications such as CISCA and ISO 9001.
Support customer-specific requirements with tailored design solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
Proficiency in SolidWorks, On Shape, or similar 3D CAD software, with a strong understanding of GD&T.
3+ years of experience in manufacturing design engineering, ideally in building products, modular systems, or structural steel fabrication.
Familiarity with metal forming, welding, and assembly processes.
Strong grasp of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) principles.
