• Collaborate closely with construction supervisors, demonstrate HSEQ culture and requirements and undertake training and additional project duties as required.
• Lead and support all technical and engineering activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, client specifications and project procedures.
• Oversee quality assurance and documentation control, including MDRs, work packs, ITPs/ITRs, Technical Queries, RFIs and Management of Change processes.
• Dive high-quality project planning and reporting, contributing to schedule development, forward planning and proactive mitigation of delays.
• Manage subcontractors effectively, including scope development, planning, procurement coordination and oversight of field electrical construction through to completion.

Requirements

Based in Miles, QLD and working a 2:1 DIDO roster, Altrad are seeking multiple E&I Project Engineers (experienced and senior-level roles available) to join our recently awarded Gas Infrastructure construction project. This opportunity plays a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards of work to facilitate successful execution of the project.

• Strong background across Electrical Oil and Gas standards, gas facility construction, HA electrical installations, instrumentation and electrical testing.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF editors and standard project software.
• Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a process-driven approach and strong task focus.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with 8+ years of experience in a similar engineering or construction-focused role.
