We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering designs and technical documentation for data‑centre projects. The role spans site due‑diligence, master‑planning, detailed design and construction support, and contributes to expanding AECOM’s civil engineering capability in the data‑centre sector. You will join a Civil Engineering Business Unit and collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers and environmental specialists in the UK and overseas.

Provide civil engineering support for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with AECOM standards and regulations.
Design and review site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, access, and utility infrastructure.
Coordinate with ground, structural, mechanical, electrical engineers, architects, project managers, and environmental consultants across UK and global teams.
Mentor junior engineers to strengthen technical capability within the Data Centres sector.

Hold a degree in Civil Engineering or related field; chartered status (CEng, MICE) is desirable.
Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, preferably in data centres or large‑scale developments.
Knowledge of planning, highways, drainage and utility approval processes.
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and using BIM models on collaborative platforms.
