The 3rd and 4th‑year Apprentice Electrician supports Silent‑Aire Limited Partnership by installing and terminating conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors and control devices. Apprentices also fabricate control panels, perform rough‑in and finish wiring, install interlocking systems, and conduct wiring check‑outs in compliance with NEC, NESC, NFPA and UFC standards. They troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits, provide material take‑offs, and assist with preventative maintenance schedules. All work follows Silent‑Aire’s safety program and Alberta occupational health and safety regulations.
Candidates must be registered apprentice electricians in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school, capable of working under journeymen supervision, independently and as part of a team. Desired qualities include strong interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
