What you would be doing

Conduct and document field activities such as soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, and tank excavations and/or removals.
Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including the collection of samples and environmental data.
Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps.
Organizing and prioritize a diverse workload; maintain accurate records.
Assisting clients with a variety of environmental, health, and safety needs, including environmental regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, industrial hygiene, and health and safety matters.
Preparing technical reports including but not limited to proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans.

Capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment.
BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments, prioritizing and delegating activities, and delivering on tight deadlines.
Strong technical, analytical, and research skills
0-4 years of related environmental consulting experience, TN-specific experience preferred.
Ability for overnight travel (typically in-state) as needed (average 20-25%).
Preferred 40-Hour Hazwoper
Ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks.
Ability to work independently in rural and metro environments.
Local Travel up to 2-3 hrs multiple times per week.
