Jr. Onshore Structural Designer (17804)

Description

• Assist in the development of structural steel and concrete designs for onshore oil & gas and midstream facilities (e.g., pipe racks, equipment structures, shelters, foundations, and access platforms)
• Support in the preparation of design deliverables including general arrangements, steel framing plans, sections, and details
• Some local travel to site locations may be required
• Prepare and update 3D models, drawings, and layouts in accordance with project requirements and company standards
• Maintain strong communication with project team members to support efficient project execution
• Coordinate and interface effectively with other disciplines, clients, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and project alignment
• Provide occasional field support including site surveys and as-built verification
• Assist in performing material take-offs and maintaining drawing lists

Requirements

• Proficiency in CADWorx, AutoCAD, or similar computer-aided design software required
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting, design technology, or related field preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• 2+ years of relevant experience in onshore structural design for oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial facilities
