The Product Manager will own all product‑related initiatives within the Roof Ventilation and Vacuum market segments, shaping strategy in line with the five‑year growth plan and innovation roadmap. This position collaborates with sales, R&D, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and supply‑chain teams to manage the full product lifecycle and resolve challenges.
- Lead development and execution of product line strategies aligned with a 5‑year growth plan and innovation roadmap.
- Oversee full product lifecycle, coordinating with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
- Manage product line extensions and new product projects through established innovation governance and opportunity assessments.
- Provide technical training and ensure compliance with North American building codes and standards.
- Partner with Marketing to create content and campaigns that expand market reach and strengthen brand presence.
- Represent Canplas at national trade shows to boost brand visibility, gather market intelligence, and engage customers.
- Capture customer feedback with Customer Insight teams to identify growth opportunities.

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; 5+ years product management experience in building materials or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated strategic, analytical, and project‑leadership skills; familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation abilities for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, PMP certification, experience with innovation frameworks, data analysis tools, bilingual (English/French), prior trade‑show representation.
