Lead system-level integration and validation of hardware for security cameras
Develop test cases and automation for cross-domain interactions (e.g., WiFi, sensor interfaces, thermal, acoustics, image quality, SD card)
Capture validation artifacts for hardware release (release note, test reports, lessons learned)
Work with SMEs to define system-level constraints, performance, and safety margins
Capture feedback from validation escapes into future test requirements and system design reviews
Assist in design and bring-up of hardware components as needed to facilitate integration testing
Work closely with electrical, firmware, mechanical, and product teams to ensure ongoing system-level test coverage
Build and execute verification and validation processes that stress subsystems and the full system to surface component and integration issues
Clearly summarize findings, risk assessments, and device release recommendations
Own the creation and update of system test matrices based on field escapes and prior learnings
Collaborate with designers to ensure issues are reproducible and fixes can be reliably validated
Create and maintain standardized test procedures to enable scaling of validation testing
Execute and document environmental, reliability, and cross-system tests (e.g., full-system WiFi and PIR, image sharpness under varying temps)
Test Execution and Documentation
Lead investigations on hardware issues found in validation or production (e.g., WiFi interop, leaking IR, image/thermal shortcomings, audio/capacitor anomalies)

4+ years hands-on experience in developing, integrating, or validating embedded hardware, bonus for consumer camera experience

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Exceptional attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute system-level or cross-domain validation strategies
Strong hardware troubleshooting skills; demonstrated history of recreating and root-causing subtle or cross-domain hardware issues
Effective communicator with an ability to drive cross functional discussion among Product, EE, ME, FW, and validation teams
Familiar with lab tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer) and hardware debug methodologies
