The Project Coordinator – Sub Station role supports the execution of electrical construction projects by assisting project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, scheduling, inventory tracking, and facilitating communication to ensure safety and compliance. The position may require occasional travel to nearby job sites.
- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities.
- Maintain and distribute project documentation such as work plans, progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate communication among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients; report issues.
- Support scheduling using MS Project, Primavera, or JD Edwards.
- Prepare project close‑out packages.
- Monitor inventory, equipment usage, and material delivery schedules.
- Promote safety and compliance on all projects.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Provide administrative support including job inspection processing, purchase order requests, and timesheet/equipment tracking.
- Travel to on‑site locations within driving distance as needed.

- Minimum 2 years of project coordination experience in construction, utilities, or electrical contracting.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with scheduling software preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; Spanish speaking a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and utility/electrical industry practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
