Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of cost management, procurement, and contract administration across major work packages.
You’ll take a hands-on approach to ensuring commercial performance, value delivery, and cost efficiency, while driving best practice and mentoring junior team members within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
- Produce accurate financial forecasts and support commercial reporting.
- Manage valuations, variations, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs).
- Drive value engineering and cost-optimisation initiatives.
- Oversee the commercial performance of large-scale project packages.
- Collaborate with project, design, and technical teams to achieve programme, quality, and budget objectives.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the commercial team.
- Work on flagship high-rise developments in prime London locations valued up to £300m.
- Lead procurement, tendering, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and best practices.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability.
- Proficient in Excel and cost management systems.
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects.
- Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proven background in RC frame and residential construction.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent).
