Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure route plans are understood and executed efficiently
Ensure compliance with driver hours-of-service regulations, load limits, and company policies
Communicate route changes or issues promptly to all relevant stakeholders
Analyze route performance and suggest improvements to reduce fuel costs, delivery times, and vehicle wear
Monitor real-time route progress and adjust routes as needed due to traffic, weather, road closures, or other disruptions
Collaborate with customer service teams to address route-related customer issues or delays
Maintain accurate records of route assignments, delivery times, and deviations for reporting and compliance purposes
Provide support for onboarding and training drivers on route procedures and GPS/telematics systems
May require on-call availability or occasional field visits to coordinate with drivers
Plan, create, and optimize daily routes for deliveries, pickups, or service appointments using routing software and GPS tools
