Identify and mark design mistakes, discrepancies, and potential issues, providing clear feedback to designers.
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Ensure adherence to company standards, codes, and best practices throughout the design process.
Serve as the final authority for design approval, giving the official stamp of approval prior to submission.
Collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and maintain quality control.
Maintain detailed records of checks, revisions, and approvals for audit and project tracking purposes.
Review and check mechanical design drawings, models, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

25+ years of experience in mechanical design within industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify errors quickly.
Regular, reliable attendance
Strong communication skills for providing clear, constructive feedback to design teams.
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Proven track record of design checking and review responsibilities in previous roles.
Travel in the U.S. and internationally (5-15%).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and design principles.
Proficiency in Bluebeam for document review and markup.
Enviromental retrofits
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Fast-paced office environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management whilesimultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 30 pounds.
Familiarity with Navisworks or similar 3D coordination software.
