The Job Cost Accountant (JCA) reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing all phases of job costing within RMS and QuickBooks Accounting Software, while maintaining the franchise’s accounting and computer systems in coordination with a CPA.
The JCA works closely with owners, office staff, insurance carriers, vendors, subcontractors, adjusters, and agents to ensure jobs are accurately costed and to continuously improve processes while handling stressful situations with empathy and urgency.
The role encompasses payroll, accounts receivable and payable, GST, bank reconciliation, timesheet entry, maintaining workplace safety certificates for subcontractors, and serving as a positive representative of the Paul Davis brand.
