Site Manager (Construction) - Leinster

Description

• Responsible for site productivity and quality goals.
• Assist staff in resolving complex or out of policy operational problems.
• Follow through on commitments to any verbal and written agreements.
• Evaluate site processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on process analysis.
• Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
• Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels. .
• Coach and provide career development advice to staff.
• Direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports.
• Coordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet agreed timelines.
• Responsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager for sites in Leinster to coordinate site activities and special projects and to supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done on time and to a high standard.
• Highly developed organisational and planning skills including the ability to schedule in an efficient, productive manner
• Ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years + working directly for a medium-large main contractor as a site manager on commercial projects and/or civil engineering infrastructure projects.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to identify and focus on key priorities.
• Experience in the management of sub-contractors
• Strong problem-solving capability.
